Answer-first pages for your law practice
Short answer: Write each page to answer one question your clients ask, in the first 40 to 60 words, then explain. Name the attorney who wrote or reviewed it, keep facts consistent across your site and listings, and follow your state bar's advertising rules. Clear answers help families, and they are easier for search and AI tools to quote.
Why write this way?
Families search with full questions, such as “Do I need to go to probate court in Texas?” Search tools and AI assistants often quote a short direct answer. If your page begins with one, it is easier to find and to trust.
How do you structure a page?
- One question as the title.
- A direct answer in about 40 to 60 words.
- Short sections with question-style headings.
- A short list of next steps.
- A plain disclaimer and how to reach you.
What builds trust?
- Your name, role and experience on the page.
- The same facts everywhere: your firm name, address, and credentials.
- Genuine reviews, where your rules allow them.
What should you check first?
Attorney advertising and solicitation rules vary by state, and they apply to websites, videos, and social media. Check with your state bar or ethics counsel before you publish. This site does not give legal-ethics advice.
How do you start?
Take the three questions you answer most often and write one page for each. Link them to each other. See also the agent lessons on being the answer and your web presence.

Questions people ask
Does this replace legal marketing counsel?
No. Always check your own state bar's rules.

It can help, but a clear, honest answer matters most.
How often should I update pages?
Review them at least once a year, and whenever the law changes.
